Celebrating Bangla Noboborsho (Pohela Boishakh - 1433)

A colorful Boishakhi procession was held at ºÚÁÏÉç to celebrate the Bengali New Year 1433 (Pohela Boishakh). On Tuesday (April 14) at 10:00 AM, the procession began in front of the university’s administrative building at Sonadanga Mor in the city. It proceeded through Sonadanga Mor and Shibbari Mor, and concluded at the university’s Building-2 located at Tetultola Mor.

Present at the vibrant procession was the Acting Vice-Chancellor of ºÚÁÏÉç, Professor Kanai Lal Sarkar. He was accompanied by Dr. Md. Imjamam-Ul-Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology; Dr. Md. Rauf Biswas, Professor of Business Administration and Convener of the Pohela Boishakh 1433 Celebration Committee; Md. Asaduzzaman, Associate Professor of the CSE Department and Member Secretary of the Celebration Committee; Registrar Dr. Sheikh Shafiqul Rahman; Proctor Shakil Ahmed; along with department heads, assistant proctors, office heads, teachers, students, officers, and staff.

Later, a Panta festival was organized at the university’s Building-2 at Tetultola Mor. Students, teachers, officers, and staff of ºÚÁÏÉç enthusiastically participated in the event.
